Carl O. Meech

Carl O. Meech, 65, of Huson Road, Saegertown died Friday, March 21, 2008 as a result of an auto accident.

He was born in Meadville August 8, 1942 a son of Henry E. and Bernice Jesse Blair Meech.

He was a tool maker working for Leech Tool and Die for many years and then retiring from Trio Tool and Die in August 2007.

He was a member of Elks Lodge #219, VFW Post 2006, American Legion Post 2005 and West Mead Twp. #2 VFD.

Survivors, include a sister, Beverly Lackey and her husband Paul of Meadville; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Meech in North Carolina; two nephews, Brent and David Meech both in North Carolina and two nieces, Gail Brosius of Erie and Adrienne Settlemire in South Carolina and several great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Henry Meech.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with and Elks service at 6:45 p.m.

The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Pjecha, Assistant Pastor of Pleasantview Alliance Church.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
