Carol A. Klein

Carol Ann Klein, 69, of Millcreek Twp, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. Carol was born on April 14, 1950 in Grove City, PA to the late John William and Theda Susan (Ebbert) Amon. She graduated in 1968 from Lakeview High School. Carol was very social. She would strike up a conversation with anyone, sincerely caring about getting to know them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was always willing to help her family in any way she could. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had an incredible faith that remained through all that life challenged her with. She loved the outdoors. She enjoyed biking, hiking, camping and gardening. She also enjoyed reading, crafting of any kind, going to garage sales and thrift shopping. Carol had previously attended Cochranton Community Church. On August 15, 1969 she married the late, Michael W. Klein, who preceded her in death on June 1, 2016. Carol is survived by her children: Heather A. Klein, of Cochranton, Jeremy M. Klein and wife Jessie, of Sandy Lake, and Adam P. Klein and companion Mim, of Montreal, Canada; her grandchildren: Amanda Klein and husband Rory Buhler, Kiersten Klein, Trennt Klein, Naomi Buchanan, Haleigh Klein, and Dane Buchanan. In addition to her parents and her husband, Carol was preceded in death by three sisters, Nancy Clayton, Evelyn Montgomery and Phyllis Arlene Gilmore; and one brother, James E. Amon. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Black Funeral Homes, Stoneboro & Sandy Lake A private memorial service will be held by the family.
