Carol Ann Nader, 81 of Conneaut Lake, passed away on July 15, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center. Carol was born in Geneva on May 15, 1941 to the late Floyd P. and Dorothy J. (Patterson) Gregory. She was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and went on to earn her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Fine Art from Edinboro University. She also earned her teaching certificate from Thiel College. She worked at Franklin Area High School as the Art Teacher for 30 years until her retirement.
Carol was a member of Our Lady, Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake and was involved in the Music Ministry for many years. She was also a member of the Conneaut Lake Red Hat Society and Station 3 in Conneaut Lake.
Carol enjoyed creating art of all kinds. She enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, needlework, tatting, and gardening. She also loved playing the organ for her church. She was a lifelong resident of Conneaut Lake and loved spending time on its shores.
Carol is survived by her children; Christinia (James) Armstrong of Laurel, MD; and Michelle McGonigal of Canonsburg, PA; her three beloved grandchildren; Stephanie Armstrong, Madison McGonigal, and Matthew Armstrong; one sister; Margaret “Peg” (Angelo) Scarsella of Grove City; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nader, Jr. and son, Mark Nader.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc. 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, PA, where visitation will take place from 5 pm – 7 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
