Carol Louise Wilson

Carol Louise Wilson, 57, of Meadville, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh following a courageous battle with Melanoma surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 23, 1959 in Meadville, a daughter of William Hartz and Barbara Ann Morgan Wilson, II.  She had been married to Robert Komorowski.

Carol was a 1978 graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked at the family business, Wilson Building Supplies, in Meadville.

Carol was of the Methodist faith.  A social member of Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Dept., she enjoyed gardening, had a creative interest in architecture including designing her own house and attending to it, and especially loved her family, spending time with them and her beloved cat Tigger.  Carol was close in age with her brother Jim and they had a very close relationship.

Survivors include two daughters, Marla L. Komorowski of Nashville, TN and Heidi A. Komorowski of Meadville, her mother, Barbara Ann Wilson of Meadville; a sister, Deborah A. Wilson of Meadville; two brothers, William H. Wilson, III and his wife Deborah of Meadville and James H. Wilson of Meadville; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, John Roger Wilson.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Joel R. DiAngi officiating.

Interment will be in Saegertown Cemetery.
