Carol Mortimer

Carol Mortimer, 72, of Meadville and formerly of Conneaut Lake, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at home.

She was born in the Bronx, NY December 28, 1936 a daughter of Joseph and Catherine Tobin Dickinson.  She married Charles K. Mortimer September 29, 1967 and he preceded her in death August 9, 2008.

She was a graduate of Levittown High School, Levittown, NY.  She enjoyed crafts of all kinds.  She will be dearly missed by her daughter and grandchildren.  She was extremely close to them and they were her pride and joy.

Survivors, include a daughter, Melanie Reif of New Hyde Park, NY; three grandchildren, Ryan Reif, Nicholas Reif and Janelle Reif; a sister, Patricia Reginald of Commack, NY; two brothers, Leroy Dickinson of Little Ferry, NJ and Jack Dickinson of Commack, NY and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Ann Lucie and a half-brother, Robert Reginald.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.

The funeral service will follow Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. William Green, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Shenango Valley Cemetery, Greenville.
