Caroline Graham Smith

August 12, 1876 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Caroline Graham Smith, wife of former state Sen. Raymond E. Smith, died Tuesday evening at her Randolph Township home after a long illness.

A daughter of William D. and Martha Gillette Graham, she lived her entire life in Randolph Township.  She was graduated from Edinboro State Normal School and taught in Randolph Township schools for six years.

She was a life-long member of Mt. Hope Methodist Church, a teacher of the Women's Bible Class for about 30 years, a member of Women's Society of Christian Service, a charter member of Mt. Hope Grange, and a charter member of Walter Wilson Camp, United Spanish War Veteran Aux.

She is survived by her husband, five daighters, Mrs. Elburn Smith, Harmon-on-Hudson, NY, Mrs. Walter F. Foulk of Mt. Hope, Mrs. John E. Donnell of Cochranton, Mrs. Clemens J. Schroer of Upper Sandusky, OH and Mrs. Russell W. Mook of Cochranton and eleven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
