Carolyn Chase Rupert

Carolyn Chase Rupert, 71, of Townville, died at home surrounded by her family, Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

She was born in East McKeesport, PA September 17, 1939 a daughter of Frank and Virginia Ruth Forsythe Chase.  She married Charles R. Rupert July 11, 1987 and he survives.

She retired from the Carlynton School District, Carnegie, PA where she was a teacher.  She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Charles of 23 years, include: a son, James R. Cimino III; a daughter, Chapin F. Cimino; a step-son, Charles K. Rupert and a step-daughter, Cheri L. Hollenbaugh; two sisters, Joan Sitler and Helen Louise Cheatham; two brothers, Robert Chase and Richard Chase and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 505 Poplar Street, Suite 310, Meadville, PA 16335.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.
