Carolyn Lee Dilley

Mrs. Carolyn Lee Dilley, 22, wife of Harold J. Dilley, of Meadville, died Tuesday, March 3, 1964, at City Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Dilley was born July 29, 1941, a daughter of Harold A. and Daisy Ervin Shartle.  She was a graduate of Meadville Area High School in 1959 and married Mr. Dilley, September 25, 1959.  Mrs. Dilley was employed as a secretary at the American Viscose Division of FMC Corp.  She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Golden Crown Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as mother advisor for the Order of Rainbow for Girls.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Barbara Lynn; her parents, of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Robert (Virginia) Crowe of Venango, Mrs. John (Barbara) Shaw of Dormont and Mrs. Charles (Elaine) Morrell of Cochranton; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Leslie Ervin and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Alvin Shartle, both of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
