Carolyn R. Keene Daniels, 70, of Conneautville, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born October 8, 1943 in Meadville, a daughter of Cecil and Gwendolyn Boyle Hall. She married John Keene August 12, 1968 and he preceded her in death September 7, 1986. She subsequently married Earl R. Daniels January 18, 2000 and he preceded her in death June 12, 2002. Carolyn was a graduate of Meadville High School. She was employed at Blazon in Jamestown and subsequently worked at the Ohio Rubber Company in Conneautville from where she retired. Carolyn was a former member of the Conneaut Lake Volunteer Fire Dept. Station 3, enjoyed reading and doing puzzles, but most of all her greatest joy in life was her granddaughter, Ayla. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Winkle and her husband Ron of Meadville; a granddaughter, Ayla Reinoehl; two brothers, James Hall of Meadville and Richard Hall and his wife Gloria of Branson, MO; her best friend, Mary Lindsey of Hendersonville, NC; step-children; step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Steven Reinoehl; and three brothers, Cecil, George, and Wayne Hall. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake. The funeral and committal service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Brumagin officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
