Carolyn W. (Bob) Smith

Carolyn E. (Bob) Smith, 92, of Meadville, died Tuesday, February 2, 1999 at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born November 4, 1906 in Sharon, a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Margaret Baird Law.  She married Arthur R. Smith, July 30, 1937.  He preceded her in death May 5, 1988.

She was a 1924 graduate of Sharon High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting.

She was a member of United Evangelical Free Church of Guys Mills and its Ladies Aid Society.

Survivors include a son, Richard A. Smith (Blanche) of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband,  she was preceded in death by one sister, Wylma Brown and three brothers, Thomas, George and Walter Law.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
