Carrie B. Garnett

Mrs. Carrie B. Garnett, 74, widow of the Rev. William H. Garnett, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Forrest L. McFadden, Guys Mills, following a day's illness.

Mrs. Garnett spent the early years of her life at Kennedy, NY.  In 1898, she married the Rev. Mr. Garnett, a Methodist minister and a former pastor of Guys Mills Methodist Church.

Mrs. Garnett had resided with the McFaddens since her husband's death in 1943.

Survivors besides her daughter, include two sons, Lawrence of South Dayton, NY and Herbert of Centerville; a brother, Burdette Billings of Kennedy, NY; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cottage, NY.
