Carrie Mae Ferguson

Mrs. Carrie Mae Ferguson, 99, of Meadville, died Tuesday, February 8, 1977, at the United Methodist Nursing Hospital where she had been a patient since May 1976.

She was born in McKeesport on August 10, 1877, a daughter of John and Sara Nowell Javens.  She was the widow of William W. Ferguson who died in 1939.  She was a member of the former Ballintyn Methodist Church, now affiliated with the Wesley United Methodist Church at McKeesport.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Addleman of Meadville and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Warner of Fontana, CA; a son, Albert Ferguson of Swissvale; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  A daughter, Mary, died in December 1976.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Richland Cemetery.
