Cathie W. Smith

Cathie W. Smith, 59, of 26415 Plank Road, Guys Mills, died at home Monday, December 15, 2003.

She was born in Youngstown, OH, November 11, 1944 a daughter of Kenneth and Catherine Woodward Wagenhouser.  She married Clyde E. Smith October 5, 1968.  He survives.

She was manager of the PA Wine & Spirits store in Titusville for whom she has worked for the past 28 years.  Previously she worked for PPG Industries, Meadville.

She was a graduate of North Lima High School, North Lima, OH and a 1968 graduate of Grove City College.  She attended Gravel Run Presbyterian Church, Woodcock, PA and she was an avid trap shooter.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: one aunt, Ruth Wagenhouser of Leetonia, OH and four cousins, Bill Wagenhouser and Marsha Wagenhouser both of Leetonia, OH, Gretchen McIlrath of Cleveland and Peter Engelhardt of Summit, NJ.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.  The funeral service will follow Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Viktoria Berlik, Pastor of Gravel Run Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
