Cathy Anne Collins

Cathy Anne Collins, 51, of 21576 Auburn Ave., Meadville went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 4, 2008 at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Dayton, OH January 23, 1957 a daughter of Jack and Judy Wymer Burrows.  She married Alan B. Collins July 31, 1983 at Townville United Methodist Church and he survives.

She was a 1975 graduate of Fairmont East High School in Centerville, OH and attended Evangel College in Springfield, MO and Wright State University in Dayton, OH.

She worked at the Crawford County Court House from 1996-1997 and was a child care provider in her home.  She was a member of High Street Community Church in Conneaut Lake.

She loved music, playing the piano, guitar and singing.  She played the piano at area churches including High Street Community Church and Townville United Methodist Church.  She also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors in addition to her husband Alan of 24 years, include: two daughters, Amy Elizabeth Collins and Amanda Joy Collins both at home, her mother and step-father, Judy and Charles Hukill of St. Augustine, FL; a brother David Burrows in California and her mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Hazen Collins of Townville.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Anne Burrows and her maternal grandparents, Ted and Elsie Wymer.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Frey, Pastor of High Street Community Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
