Celyn F. Warp, 74, of Guys Mills, died Monday, March 24, 1975, at Spencer Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He had been ill for several months.
He was born in Wayne Township, June 30, 1900, son of Frank A. and Ancinohie Oakes Warp. He married Amy Custead May 4, 1922.
Mr. Warp retired from Sunbeam Equipment Corp. in 1965. He previously was employed for a short time at McCrosky Tool Corp. and farmed in Wayne Township in his earlier years. After his retirement, he worked part-time at Eager Beaver Lumber Co. at Townville. He was a member and former trustee of the United Church of Guys Mills and a member of Randolph-East Mead Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (June) Woolstrum of Cooperstown and Mrs. Richard (Janice) Cutshall of Meadville; a son, George E. Warp of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Anita) Fowler of Guys Mills; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery, East Mead Township.
