Charles B. Decker, 78, of Meadville, died Sunday, August 2, 1992, at Springs Manor after an extended illness.
He was born February 21, 1914, in Youngsville, Warren County, a son of Clifford and Edna Gage Decker. He married Lettie Frazier August 1, 1952, she survives.
He was a retired machinist at Sunbeam Equipment Corp. He served in the US Army in the South Pacific during World War II.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Mrs. George (Sandra) Shroeder of Hancock, MD, Mrs. Michael (Sharon) Lalli of Erie and Carla Pears of Meadville; two sons, Richard J. Roche of Meadville and Robert B. Roche of Chesapeake, VA; ten grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Decker and a grandson, Robert B. Roche, Jr.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
