Charles C. Murphy

Charles C. Murphy, of Cochranton, died Friday, March 4, 1983, at Roswell Park Memorial Institute, Buffalo, after an extended illness.

He was born at Weston, WV, a son of Edward and Margaret Rush Murphy.  He married Marian Peterson.

He was retired from the US Air Force, having served during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two aunts, Mrs. Elizabeth Caffery and Mrs. Faber Bradley, both of Meadville and several sisters and brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
