Charles 'Chip' Raymond Corliss, Jr.

April 6, 1948 — September 1, 2004

Charles “Chip” Raymond Corliss Jr., 56, of Woodinville, WA, died Wednesday September 1, 2004 at home.

Chip was born in Meadville, April 6, 1948 a son of Charles & Dorothy Corliss Sr.

Chip graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville and University of Pittsburgh with a major in Accounting. He worked as a CPA with Zurn Industries.

Chip was a quiet, honest and decent man with a great sense of humor. Chip had no immediate family in the Seattle area, but to his close friends, he was family. He enjoyed the camaraderie of the Monday night football games and an occasional Saturday afternoon on the front porch with his buddies and a good cigar. He loved the computer and anything hi-tech. An avid bicyclist, Chip enjoyed the great outdoors and also spent the last three years doing what he liked best - walking. He participated in organized walk groups, especially as a member of the Interlake Trailblazers Volkssport Club active throughout Washington State, and logged over 10,000 miles in three years. He will be deeply missed by all his good friends who enjoyed his company over the years.

Chip is survived by his aunt, Margaret Soules of Bartlesville, OK, many cousins and friends including John & Karen Habada of Meadville, PA.

Graveside services will be Sunday, September 26th at 3 p.m. in Greendale Cemetery, 700 Randolph St., Meadville with Rev. Brian Moran, Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Humane Society For Seattle/King County, 13212 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98005, (425) 373-5382.
