Charles D. Bain

Charles D. Bain, 85, of Union Township, died at Spencer Hospital Wednesday, August 24, 1960, after a short illness.

He had lived on the same farm in Union Township all his life along with a cousin Mrs. Susan H. Lingo.

He was born in Union Township June 12, 1875, a son of Adrian and Emma Hamman Bain.  He was a life-long farmer.

Mr. Bain was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Union Township, and also was a 53-year member of Union Center Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

Survivors include several cousins.

Service were held at Waid Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Barroll, officiating.

Interment was in Kebort Cemetery, Union Township.
