Charles F. Hoyt, 79, of Guys Mills, died suddenly at Spencer Hospital Monday, October 3, 1966.
He was born in Richmond Township, November 29, 1886, a son of William A. and Florence M. Waite Hoyt. He married the former Alice Haubersin who died in 1933.
Mr. Hoyt was employed in the maintenance department of Talon, Inc. for 10 years, retiring in 1952. During the early part of his life he was a cheese maker in Crawford County and for a number of years he was employed at Muckinhaupt's Grange, Meadville.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Adam Crago and Mrs. Jack Lingo, both of Guys Mills; a brother, Clyde L. Hoyt of Erie; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Wayland Cemetery, East Mead Township.
