Charles G. Hildreth, 91, of 838 Liberty St. died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Meadville Jan. 25, 1913, a son of Frank & Cora Richards Hildreth.
He was a graduate of Meadville High School, and was a veteran of World War II having served in the China, India, Burma Theatre of operations with the U. S. Army Air Corps.
He had been the owner-operator of Hildreth’s Dry Cleaners of Conneautville for many years.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge #408, and a life member of Elks Lodge #219.
He is survived by his companion Helen I. Miller of Meadville, and great nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James & Roy Hildreth.
There are no calling hours or services planned.
Following cremation, burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W. Waid Funereal Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
