Charles G. Orr

Charles G. Orr, 53, of Saegertown, died at City Hospital Friday, November 12, 1965, after a short illness.

Mr. Orr was born in Farrell on December 7, 1911, to William and Mary Reed Orr.  He married the former Dorothy Ellis on September 3, 1938.

Mr. Orr was a railway express clerk for 23 years before retiring because of a disabling injury.

He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, was a member of the Moose Lodge at Salamanca and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Seneca Lodge 2276.

Survivors, in addition to his widow, include a daughter, Karen at home; three sons, Charles E. of Dover, DE, Richard R. of West Sunbury and Gary at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Orr of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Samuel Reed of Conneaut Lake; and a half-brother, Samuel Lewis Orr of Conneaut Lake and one grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
