Charles I. Stoyer

October 1, 1871 — January 1, 1753

Charles I. Stoyer, of Meadville, died Saturday afternoon at Spencer Hospital.  He had been in failing health for some time.

Born in Venango County, he spent the early part of his life in Cochranton.  For the past 53 years, he had been a resident of Meadville.

He had been a machinist for the Erie Railroad for 21 years.  He was a 60-year member of Cuseewago Lodge, IOOF, a member of the Erie Veterans Assn., Meadville Grange and a member of Stone Methodist Church and the Men's Class of the church.

Surviving is his widow, Dora Stockton Stoyer.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
