Charles L. “Chuck” Gander, 55 of Lake Twp, Stoneboro, passed away on May 23, 2021 at his home. Chuck was born in Grove City on January 11, 1966 to Thomas and Hazel (Perschka) Gander. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and went on to proudly serve his Country in the United States Army. During his time in the Army he was stationed in Germany where he met his beloved wife, Doris Fischer, whom he married on August 4, 1989, she survives at home. Chuck loved working his farm on Slater Road and being outdoors and hunting. He was a member of many different bowling and softball leagues throughout his years. He also enjoyed classic cars and his Rottweilers Heidi, Thor, and Xena, and his Miniature Pinscher, Peanut. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife and his family. In addition to his wife and parents, Chuck is survived by his children, Thomas Rodriguez and wife Kristine of CO, Melissa Gander and partner Steven Evanitz of Sandy Lake, and Jessica Gander and boyfriend Harry Turner of Washington State, grandchildren Aidan and Zoey Rodriguez, brother Thomas Gander and wife Brenda of Stoneboro, sister Lisa Gander-Foust and husband Larry of Grove City, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro, where family and friends are welcome from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, May 26.
