Charles M. Fowler, 75, of Guys Mills, died Thursday, August 20, 1981 after suffering a sudden illness at home.
He was born at Rice's Landing, Greene County, August 12, 1906, a son of Madison and Eva Bane Fowler. He married Anita Warp June 11, 1929.
He retired from the toolroom at Talon, Inc. in 1971. He was also a part-time farmer in Randolph Township.
Mr. Fowler was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Howell of Meadville; three sons, Kenton of Meadville, David of Guys Mills and Terry of Cyprus Beach, CA; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian St. Pierre of Downey, CA and Mrs. Pearl Randolph of Carmichaels; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brother and a sister.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
