Charles Orville Bideaux, 67, payroll superintendent for American Viscose Corp. for 30 years, died at Spencer Hospital early Wednesday morning, July 5, 1967, following a heart attack. He had been in ill health for a year.
Mr. Bideaux was born at Woodcockboro December 23, 1899, a son of August X. and Mayme Beach Bideaux. He retired in 1965 as a Viscose employe. He also had been bookkeeper for 35 years for C.P. Flaugh & Co.
He was active in his youth in bowling and baseball.
He was a member of Stone Methodist Church and its official board.
Survivors include his widow, the former Marjorie Whiteley; a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Alicia) Weiland Jr. of Conneaut Lake; a son, the Rev. Rene Bideaux of Cambridge, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Spaudling of Woodcockboro; two borthers, Merle of Woodcockboro and George A. of Tucson, AZ; and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cambridge Springs Cemetery.
