Charles R. (Russ) Spratt, 81, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at Rolling Fields, Conneautville. He was born in Pittsburgh August 5, 1926, a son of the late Everett Spratt and Leona Schaub Spratt Bowman. He married Zelda Bluestone October 21, 1949 and she survives. He worked at General Electric in Pittsburgh as a shipping clerk for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of World War II and formerly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Survivors, in addition to his wife Zelda of 58 years, include 2 daughters, Janet Loebach and her husband Richard of Pittsburgh and Judy Kinnee and her husband Matthew of Scott Township; 5 grandchildren, Shawn and Mark Loebach and Allison, Clifton, and Donovan Kinnee; 2 sisters, Norma Ponical and her husband Robert of Georgetown, PA and Susan Tragesser of Pittsburgh; and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Eric Loebach. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12th at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 15315 Harmonsburg Rd., Meadville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, c/o W.D. Lubinecki, 17050 Harmonsburg Rd., Meadville, PA 16335. Arrangements are under the direction of Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.
