Charles R. Swick

Charles R. Swick, 76, of Wesbury United Methodist Community, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Saturday, January 16, 1993 at Wesbury following a brief illness.

He was born in Pittsburgh, October 18, 1916, a son of the late Charles and Anna Brown Swick.  He married Rita C. Miller, January 6, 1937.  She preceded him in death February 16, 1973.

He was retired purchasing agent for Power Piping Co. of Pittsburgh.  He was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church of Pittsburgh and had served as a church usher for many years.

Survivors include a son, Charles J. Swick of Meadville; a sister, Laverne Middleton of Beaver; a brother, Jack J. Swick of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
