Charles T. Bright

Charles T. (Chuck) Bright, 50, of Meadville, a salesman, died Wednesday, August 19, 1992, at Meadville Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Gary, IN, January 1, 1942, a son of Charles G. and Eugena McDaniel Bright. He married Linda Oakes, February 2, 1981. She survives. He worked in office machine sales for Jochum Business Systems, Jamestown, NY, for 10 years. He was a member of Cochranton Community Church, where he served as a former youth director, a Sunday School teacher and a choir member. He also was a former youth basketball coach in Meadville and a volunteer reader at First District School through the Active Aging program. A 1960 graduate of Neillsville High School in Wisconsin, he attended the University of Hawaii and the University of Toledo. He served in the US Army. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Eden) Hughes of Deltona, FL; three sons, Christian Bright of Lancaster, OH, Brook Bright and Chance Bright, both at home; a sister, Lorna Bright of Nineveh, IN; two brothers, Larry Bright of Nineveh and Gordon Bright of Cub Run, KY; his mother, of Nineveh; and four grandchildren. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Carpenter's Cemetery, Mercer. Services Past Services
