Charles T. Weeks, 88, of Corry, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Corry Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Corry February 8, 1922. He married Emma Kovach in 1946 and she preceded him in death in 1993.
Charles was a 1940 graduate of Corry High School and was a Veteran of World War II in the Pacific Theater of Operations, serving in the U.S. Army. He was the recipient of the good conduct medal, meritorious unit award, Philippines liberation ribbon with 2 bronze stars, Asiatic Pacific campaign medal with 3 bronze stars, and the World War II victory medal. He worked as a tool and die maker for 40 years at Corry Jamestown Corporation.
He was a member of St. Thomas Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 264, the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge, and American Legion Post 365, all of Corry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching tennis and was an avid Penn State and New York Yankees fan.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Weeks and his wife Suzanne and Roger Weeks, all of Corry.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
