Charlotte May Beatty

Charlotte May Beatty, 93, of Meadville, a patient at Wesbury since May, died there Thursday, July 20, 2000, after a brief illness.

She was born in Conneaut, OH, October 14, 1906 a daughter of Carl C. and Martha R. Wescott Lillie.  She was first married to Kenneth Herrick, Sr. who preceded her in death.  She then married Raymond Marshall Beatty July 13, 1935 and he preceded her in death May 16, 1973.

She attended Erie Business College and had been employed at Conneaut Bank & Trust, Co., Conneaut, OH for 8 years and as a machine operator at Talon for 15 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Marsha Scott (William), Roberta Dean (Wayne) and Leona Harned, all of Meadville; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Herrick, Jr.; a great-grandson, Angelo Raymond Bocchine, a sister, Gertrude Douglas, and a brother, Laurence Lillie.

Service were held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
