Chauncey C. Case

December 16, 1884 — April 30, 1974

Chauncey C. Case, 89, of Meadville, died Tuesday, April 30, 1974, at United Methodist Nursing Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks.  He had been ill for a month.

A son of John and Harriet Zimmerman Case, he was born at Hartstown December 16, 1884.  His wife, the former Geraldine Brennan, died in 1957.  He was a retired sale representative of the former Allied Equipment Corp.  and a member of Hartstown United Presbyterian Church.  A 1908 graduate of Grove City College, where he lettered in baseball, he also was a member of Sulgrove Masonic Lodge, Youngstown; Scottish Rite Bodies of New Castle; Tangier Shrine Temple of Omaha and Meadville Elks Lodge.

A niece and several cousins survive him.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hartstown Cemetery.
