Mrs. Christina Krasa, 86, of Meadville, Vernon Township, died at home Saturday, January 10, 1976, after a sudden illness.
She was born in Czechoslovakia, December 15, 1889, daughter of John and Josephine Enzel Uzlik. She married James F. Krasa May 29, 1909. He died January 11, 1963.
Mrs. Krasa came to the US as a young girl, settling in Pittsburgh. After marrying, she and Mr. Krasa lived in Conneautville for a time before moving to Meadville.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Alice) Semerad, Jr. of Meadville, Mrs. Mae Harmon and Mrs. John (Dorothy) Cholak, both of Meadville and Mrs. Charles (Esther) Kelyman of North Kansas City, MO; two sons, Frank J. of Meadville and John W. of Corry; two sisters, Mrs. Fraces Mukarovsky of Curtisville and Mrs. Anna Kisow of Cannonsburg; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph and William.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
