Christine Warren

Christine (Jill) Warren, 97, of Meadville, died Friday, October 6, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center, following a period of declining health. She was born in Knox, September 18, 1898, a daughter of Benjamin F. and Mary Ann Reardon McElhatten. She married Francis Warren, March 19, 1921. He preceded her in death in 1966. She retired in 1966 from the billing department of PEPCO in Washington, DC, after many years of service. Having moved to Meadville in 1966, she volunteered in the snack bar and gift shop at the former Spencer Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Meadville Medical Center Aux. Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Robert (Ted) McElhatten of Cochranton and Ardelle Honeycutt of Brandenton, FL. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ida Slaugenhoupt, Ruth Whitman and Ardelle Fillman and six brothers, Waldo, Howard, Charles, Alvin, Ward and William McElhatten. Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Arlington National Cemetery. Services Past Services
