Christopher L. Krauchak

June 8, 1963 — December 28, 2021

Christopher L. Krauchak, 58 of Sandy Lake Twp, passed away on December 28, 2021. Chris was born in Washington D.C. on June 8, 1963 to Gerald P. and the late Karen L. (Fitzpatrick) Krauchak. He was a graduate of Butler High School and went on the serve his Country in the United States Air Force for 21 years, serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his time in the service he worked at Slippery Rock University as a plumber.

Chris enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed playing games and playing horseshoes and had a very competitive spirit. He was an avid football fan, especially loving the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his earlier years he enjoyed traveling and would always collect a rock from every country and place he visited. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with his wife.


Chris was married to his beloved wife, Marie (Mathis) Krauchak on December 18, 1987, she survives at home. Also left to cherish his memory is his father; Gerald Krauchak, daughter; Desiree (George) Greene of San Antonio, TX, son; John Krauchak of Winston-Salem, NC, grandchildren; Ahvian, Dominique, Peyton, and Lauren, brother; Keith Krauchak of Butler, and sister; Rebecca D’Antonio of Butler.


In addition to his mother, Chris was preceded in death by his daughter, Erika.


Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake.


There will be no services as per Chris’s wishes.
