Cindy Anne Davison, 48, of 321½ N. Monroe Street died at home Wednesday, May 4, 2005 following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Olean, NY, May 12, 1956 a daughter of William and Janice Ursoy Sisson. She married Rex Davison and he survives. Previously, she had been married to Lyle Smith.
She attended Meadville Area Schools and worked as a nurse’s aid at the former City Hospital in Meadville.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include: two sons, Matthew Smith of Meadville and Benjamin Smith of Galveston, TX, one daughter, Carrie Smith of Galveston, TX; her mother, Janice Sisson of Meadville; four sisters, Barbara Andrews and her husband Joseph, Brenda Lafferty, Janet Sisson and Julie Baker all of Meadville and two grandchildren, Timothy and Ashton Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, William Sisson.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gregory Streed, Pastor of First Baptist Church and Rev. Richard Haemer, Pastor of Saegertown Community Church, co-officiating.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
