Cindy Grunefeld

Cindy Grunefeld, 8, of Espyville, died Wednesday, December 25, 1996 at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh following an illness of several months.

She was born December 7, 1988 in Karlsruhe, Germany, a daughter of Robert and Elke Heinrich Denne.

Cindy attended Alice Shafer Elementary School, Linesville and Espyville United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls.

Survivors in addition to her parents include four sisters, Nina and Manuela Grunefeld and Angelina and Emilee Denne, all at home; one brother, Robert Denne at home; maternal grandparents of Germany; paternal grandparents, Richard Denne and Hilda Denne of Lowber; and also aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, June Denne and paternal great-grandfather, Joseph Denne.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Espyville Cemetery.
