Clara A. Jones

Clara A. Jones, 80, of 11838 McFadden Road, Guys Mills, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born August 12, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of Frank and Anna (Symujynski) Kubisiak.  She married Wayne Jones January 27, 1943 and he survives.

She worked in the shipyards on Neville Island during World War II and worked as an inspector at GTI from 1965-1971.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, upholstering, baking and cake decorating and sold her wares at the Market House.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 59 years, include a son, Larry Jones and his wife Linda of Randleman, NC and a daughter, Neva A. (Midge) Jones and her good friend Becky DuBose of Guys Mills.  She was preceded in death by five sisters, Gertrude, Tillie, Helen, Florence and Marcy and a brother, Frank Jones, Jr.

A private family service will be held with the Rev. Gerald Murphy, officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
