Clara A. Mcelhaney

Mrs. Clara A. McElhaney, widow of David McElhaney, of Meadville, died Saturday afternoon at City Hospital after a brief illness.  She was 73.

She was a daughter of Frederick and Eva Ellis Zimmerman and had lived in the Hartstown community before coming to Meadville three years ago.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Meadville and the Priscillas of the church.  She had been a long time member of the United Presbyterian Church of Hartstown.

She is survived by a son, Harry of Meadville; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Weaver Fessler of New Castle and an uncle, N. E. Ellis of Toronto, OH.

A daughter, Margaret, died in 1943.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Hartstown Cemetery.
