Clara Dean

March 23, 1904 — January 1, 1753

Mrs. Clara Dean, wife of Arthur Dean, of Meadville, died at Greenville Hospital, following an illness of several months.  He was 49.

Mrs. Dean was well known in this area.  She had been a teacher in Vernon Township schools for a number of years and recently had been teaching in the 4th grade at Kerrtown School.  She was a member of Stone Methodist Church.

Survivors besides her husband are a daughter, Virginia and son, Wayne, both at home; her mother, Mrs. H. C. Wasson of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Peters of Conneautville and Miss Laura M. Wasson of Meadville; two brothers, Stanley H. Wasson of Meadville and Carl H. Wasson of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
