Clara Lucile Stallard

Clara Lucile Stallard, 91, of Meadville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born January 20, 1932 in Guys Mills, a daughter of Frank W. Childs and Alice Salman Childs Virtue.  She married Dwight J. Stallard March 24, 1951 and he preceded her in death October 27, 2018.

Lucile was a 1950 graduate of Randolph High School.  A homemaker, she also worked for her father at Childs Garage, sold Watkins Products, and assisted her husband at the churches he served.

Lucile was a very active member of Meadville Alliance Church serving her Lord.

Survivors include a son, Richard Dwight Stallard (Gayle) and a daughter, Melody Lynn Gibbons (David), all of Cochranton; four grandchildren, Ringo Fry, Heather McMann (Jeff), Justin Gibbons (Lindsey), and Tricia Syler (Doug); eleven great-grandchildren, Zachary, Quinton, and Joshua Syler, Julias and Alexis Fry, Riley, Lenox, and Kambria Gibbons, and Lillian, Audrina, and Trevor McMann; a brother, Norman Childs (Arlean) of Paragould, AR; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two infant sons, Timmy and John Mark Stallard; and two sisters, Cecile Stewart and Marilyn Childs Mears.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, February 7th from 1-3 p.m. at Meadville Alliance Church, 600 N. Main St., Meadville where a memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Conley, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
