Clare G. Eiler

Mrs. Clare G. Eiler, wife of V. W. Eiler, Sr., of Meadville, died Sunday, March 8, 1959, at Spencer Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Albert and Anna Bernarding Grotefend.  She was married September 3, 1909.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. John (Katherine) Zetterburg of Buffalo, NY and Mrs. H. F. (Pauline) Krueger of Nashville, TN; a son, V. Wallie Eiler, Jr. of Meadville; three brothers, Albert and Edward Grotefend, both of New Castle and Ralph Grotefend of Baltimore, MD; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
