Clarence A. Weidaw

Clarence A. Weidaw, 74, of Meadville, died Monday, August 28, 1989, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Weidaw was born in Wilkes Barre, December 6, 1914, a son of Fred and Camilla Sims Weidaw.  He married Evelyn Zahn June 12, 1946.  She survives.

He was a retired businessman.  He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a former Eagle Scout.  She was a World War II veteran, having served in the US Army.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four daughters, Joy Link of Meadville, Adele Barger of Arlington, VA, Desiree Perkins of Riverdale, MD and Elissa Gonzales of Reston, VA; his step mother, Alice Shilling of Meadville; three sisters, Ruth Lorenzo of Flemington, NJ, Grace Eno of Honesdale and Joan Peery of Fresno, CA; one step-sister, Joanne Crawford of Easton; two step-brothers, James Brittian of Fairfax, VA and John Brittian of Pittsburgh and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
