Clarence R. Hamilton

Clarence R. Hamilton, 63, of Saegertown, was pronounced dead on arrival at City Hospital late Thursday afternoon, May 4, 1972, after being stricken with a heart attack at his Cussewago Township home.

He was born in East Mead Township, November 23, 1908, a son of Nathaniel and Sarah Smock Hamilton.  He married Maryetta Allen May 14, 1937.  She died in 1969.

Mr. Hamilton operated a farm in Cussewago Township and was operator of the waste water treatment plant at the Crawford County Home at the time of his death.  He was graduated from Meadville High School in 1929 and was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.

Surviving are five sons, Robert G. of North Kingsville, OH, John F., Ned and W. Lynn, all of Meadville and Donald W. of Saegertown; a brother, Arthur W. of Meadville and seven grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kiser Hill Cemetery.
