Clarence VanAllen, 63, of Meadville, died Wednesday, October 3, 1962, at Spencer Hospital after a short illness.
He was born at Portland, NY, September 23, 1899, a son of Wilbert and Florence Davison VanAllen. He married Ethel Sarvey on March 29, 1947. A farmer in Wayne Township for many years, he formerly operated a stand at Meadville Market House. He moved to Meadville in 1956.
Surviving are his widow and four stepsons, Lafayette Collingwood of Kennerdell, George Collingwood of Aliquippa and Robert Collingwood of Clarion.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
