Clarence W. Cotton

Clarence W. Cotton, 80, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Friday, April 24, 1970, after an illness of one month.

He was born and raised in Vernon Township, moving to Meadville eight years ago.  For the past 35 years, he made his home with the Misses Florence and Mary Wallace.

He was born June 19, 1889, a son of Joseph and Helen Cotton.  He never married.

Mr. Cotton had been employed at Abex Corp. and American Viscose Division of FMC Corp.  He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Cousins are the only survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Dennys Cemetery.
