Clark C. Eiler

Clark C. Eiler, 92, of Conneaut Lake, died at Mead Nursing Home, where he had been a resident for two months, Sunday, June 19, 1983, after a two-month illness.

He was born at Meadville, September 20, 1890, a son of V. W. and Barbara Clark Eiler, II.  He married Mae W. Stambaugh, December 27, 1915.  She died May 31, 1975.

He first operated a pool room with his brother, Sturgis, and then was owner and operator of the Strand Theater in the Eiler Block of Water Street.  He later retired from Talon, Inc., where he worked in the cabin machine department.

Survivors include two sons, Robert C. of Conneaut Lake and George A. of Meadville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
