Claude G. Lyons

September 13, 1882 — February 26, 1974

Claude G. Lyons, 91, who had resided at the Methodist Home for the Aged since February 1971, died at the home Tuesday morning, February 26, 1974, after a long illness.

He was born in Perry Township, Mercer County, on September 13, 1882, a son of John N. and Alice Goodrich Lyons.  He married Clara E. Klinger on June 1, 1907.  Mr. Lyons was employed as steam engineer by the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad.  He was a member of Fredonia United Methodist Church.

His widow, who resides at the Methodist Home, is his only survivor.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rocky Glen Cemetery.
