Claude S. Theuret

Claude S. Theuret, 89, formerly of Woodcock Borough, died Monday, August 12, 1974, at Crawford County Home and Hospital where he resided for the last five years.  He had been ill for several years.

A son of Joseph and Katherine Gerdon Theuret, he was born in Woodcock Township, May 14, 1885.  A farmer all his life, he also was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Woodcock.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mabel VanMarter of Meadville and Mrs. Saloma Humes of Meadville; two brothers, Joseph and Murray Theuret, both of Saegertown; and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, George, preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
