Cleora Wygant Steele

Mrs. Cloera Wygant Steele, 82, formerly of Franklin and a resident of United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital, widow of Harry C. Steele, died at the home Saturday, January 30, 1982, following a brief illness.

She was born at Cooperstown May 3, 1899, a daughter of Clayton and Estella Record Wygant.  She married Mr. Steele June 27, 1936.  He preceded her in death September 26, 1963.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Franklin.

Mrs. Steele is survived by two half sisters, Mrs. Jean Kerr of Titusville and Mrs. Maxine LeComte of Meadville and six half brothers, Arthur L. Wygant, Floyd S. Wygant, Walter A. Wygant, Harold C. Wygant and Edward C. Wygant, all of Meadville and James C. Wygant of St. Louis.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Franklin Cemetery.
